My Review:
I really enjoyed the first two short stories in the series so I was quite excited about this one. Wolf was always this enigma and I really wanted to find out about his relationship with Scarlet and Hunter. But to be honest, I was slightly disappointed. The story is still hot but it just felt like something was missing. And at times it even felt confusing.

A big part of the story was quite confusing to me. The constant jump between past and current events, made it quite difficult to follow, at least for me. In addition to that, big chunk of the story and especially the ending felt just rushed. I did get Wolf's background and why he shies away from relationships, but his relationship with Scarlet and Hunter is not something new. And for all the years they've been together in one way or another, they've never really talked about how they feel? It sounds kind of strange to me. And when they finally somewhat revealed what they feel, Wolf run. I understand that part. He is scarred from his teenage years and all that. But I really doubt he can overcome that in the span of a few days and completely change his mind after a kiss. To me it just felt rushed. I needed more from the characters and the story.

So after all that being said, I really enjoyed the previous two books in the series and this one wasn't bad. So I am definitely going to check the rest of the author's work. And I can't wait to read Mal's story. For me, he is one of the most intriguing characters :)
