My Review:
I love Lauren Blakely's books and when I first read Sweet Sinful Nights, I fell in love with the characters. But there was just something about Ryan that endeared him to me and I just couldn't wait to get my hands on his story. So, understandably, I was out of this world happy when I found out that Sinful Desires is going to be about him and the woman of his heart :) Of course, I read the prequel, Sweet Desire, and I was even more intrigued. And I wasn't disappointed. The story is fast paced, filled with pantie melting hotness, desire, tenderness and romance and peppered with secrets, suspense and danger. :)
Ryan Sloan is a deliciously sexy and dominant alpha who lived through a tragedy as a teenager. A tragedy that shook the foundation of his young life and he and his sibling were pulled into a whirlwind that still puts their lives on unstable ground and leaves him with trust issues a mile long. The walls around his heart are close to impossible to break and he doesn't give the chance to the women in his life to even try - they don't even get past the third date. Well, that all changes the moment he sees Sophie Winston. She is like a ray of sunshine for his dark and untrusting soul. In the span of weeks he finds himself opening to her and falling unconditionally in love. Even sharing secrets he hasn't even told his siblings.
Sophie is simply gorgeous. Not only on the outside, but also on the inside. She is smart, loving and compassionate. She dedicates her life to helping others and I have to say that I loved her character. So yep, be ready for some temperature increasing reading with a sprinkle of romance and topped with some suspense (there are just too many secrets to make this book a simple hot romantic story ;) ) And to add to that, you will also glad a glimpse of the other Sloan siblings. I am definitely intrigued by Collin and I can't wait to read his and Elle's story in the next book in the series :) So get your #oneclick finger working and start reading :) You won't regret it ;)
